Up next is Burna Boy! Oluwa Burna, the Renaissance Man. He has been killin dem since forever, but he doubled up his murder rate this year.
After adopting the style & pattern of the abami eda himself, Fela, he’s been on top of his prime! This adoption of style has purportedly nabbed him the Best international Act in the annual BET Award Show in the United State Of America. Although, he himself, his mother and his british african girlfriend ‘Stefflon Don’ were present at the award show, his mother ended up receiving the award on his behalf. He also recently performed on Trevor Noah and Jimmy Kimmel’s Live Show.
On the Lion King album, he was specially given a track to murder without the assistance of Beyoncé unlike the rest of the tracks. Burna is truly an african giant, a Goliath precisely, and no David(o) can bring this Goliath down. His hits this year are; Dangote, Anybody, Secret, Another Story, Gbona, Ja Ara E, Spiritual, Collateral Damage, and many more. And who has the guts to feature Angelique Kidjo and Damian Marley on thesame song!? Well, Oluwa Burna did.
