In the past few days, Grammy apparently announced that Cardi B, Post Malone, Lady Gaga, Travis Scott, Janelle Monae would be performing, but even few more musicians have vouched to perform at the yearly prestigious ceremony. As we all know, Alicia Keys would be hosting the event but the performers’ list was kinda concealed. Unfortunately, three of the hottest hip-hop acts has reportedly turned down offers to perform, leaving us all to wonder what could have happened.

According to the New York Times, Kendrick Lamar, Drake and ‘This Is America’ singer Childish Gambino were all reached out to, to show off their skills on the Grammy stage on Sunday, but surprisingly, all three chose not to go through with it.
Representatives for Kendrick, Drake and Gambino were uncertain if the artists will be in attendance or not. It will be interesting to see who takes home the most meaningful prizes this weekend.
