Kanye West Deletes Twitter And Instagram Accounts Again! – And For The 3rd Time
At a period of time when social media users are getting used to his regular stream of controversial statements, popular rapper, Kanye West appears to have deleted his Twitter and Instagram accounts – and its for a record third time.
His deliberate removal from social media comes amid criticism of the rapper over comments he made in support of Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live.
Recently, the rapper, who prefers to be called Ye, came under fire for saying that the 13th amendment of the US Constitution, which brought an end to slavery, should be abolished – a statement that he later clarified.
Apparently he meant to write “amend”.
He further sparked outrage and amusement in equal measure few weeks ago during his performance on the American comedy show Saturday Night Live after he wore a hat with Trump’s slogan “Make America Great Again” and apparently gave an unscripted, off-air rant in support of the president to the audience.
Meanwhile, a search for West’s Twitter profile brings up a message which says “that page doesn’t exist”, while his Instagram page says: “Sorry, this page isn’t available.”
The rapper had erased his social media presence last year, and previously prior to the release of his Yeezus album in 2013.
