Americans Regard Wizkid As An Upcoming Artiste – Lanre Teriba
Gospel singer Lanre Teriba has expressed the opinion of Americans on Nigerian pop superstar Wizkid.
According to Lanre, ‘Wizkid is an upcoming artiste to Americans’. He made this remark on TVC programme eSplash.
He maintained that despite the rave of Afrobeats music and penetration in America, Americans don’t really think highly of Wizkid or Nigerians in general.
In contrast to Mr Teriba, Nigerian musicians have been gaining more popularity in the American and Europe market. On several occasions, American music stars have hopped on Nigerian sounds and vibed to it.
