I Had No Idea Wizkid Chose Same Date For His Show – Olamide
Olamide has had his headline show for the past four years and would be organizing OLIC 5 this year. But this year is different as his choice of date 23rd December 2019 clashes with Wizkid’s ‘Made in Lagos’ concert which holds on the same day.
In a chit chat with Sunday Scoop, Olamide outlined that there is no trouble in sight as his date clashes with Wizkid. “It is true that the two shows will happen on the same day. The population of Nigeria is huge and everyone cannot fill up one event centre”, he said.
Baddo said the clash wouldn’t have a negative impact on his own OLIC 5.
“I believe the sky is big enough for all birds to fly without touching each other. I honestly don’t feel there will be any negative effect. If you switch on your television set, I am sure you have many options; so, it is left for you to decide which station you stay tuned to. That is how I see things,” he said.
The YBNL boss insisted that he had no idea Wizkid had the same date in mind.
He said, “I am not living in his (Wizkid) mind, but I don’t think anyone has an issue with it and I am sure we will both make good money from the shows.”
