One Year After; Mr P Bags His First Award As A Solo Artist
Former member of the defunct music duo Psquare, Peter Okoye aka Mr P has got himself his first award since going solo.
About this time last year, September precisely, the world famous Nigerian pop group Psquare parted ways.
Within a year of going solo, Mr P bagged his first award at the just concluded International Achievement Recognition Awards (IARA). The singer and dancer picked up an award as ‘Best International Male Artist’ beating other contenders.
An excited Mr P couldn’t hold back the joy as he shared the news on Instagram with the following words;
Yes Guys we did it! We won!!! My very first award as a solo act! You guys made this happen. INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT RECOGNITION AWARDS

To @iara_awards my profound thanks, I was hoping to be in London but as you’re aware, I’m in the middle of my US/Canadian Tour at the moment! I will be by to pick up my award personally.
