School Is No Be Scam – Peruzzi Clears The Air
DMW act, Peruzzi, has set the record straight on Twitter after a user tried to use him as an example to justify the popular Nigerian phrase “School is a scam.”
A throwback picture of Peruzzi as a medicine student in Ukraine became a popular topic on social media yesterday and on seeing the picture, a user was shocked, expressing his disbelief that Peruzzi studied medicine in Europe and returned to Nigeria only to become a musician, wasting the skill and medical knowledge he has acquired.
The user decided to use the story as a bait to justify the fact/fiction that going to school in Nigeria is actually a waste of time. However, Peruzzi, who seemed to be hanging around somewhere on Twitter, negated the user’s opinion, responding that school isn’t a waste of time.
