Tiwa Savage Explains the Concept of New Song 49-99
Universal Music Group artiste, Tiwa Savage, released a new single titled 49-99 which has been buzzing.
Apparently, Tiwa got the idea off the music legend, Fela Kuti.
According to Tiwa, 49-99 is a popular transport system called the “Molue” in Nigeria (popular in Lagos).
The bus has just 49 seats but has over 99 people in it. She explained this portrayed the poverty situation in her country Nigeria.
She posted a short clip of the interview on her Instagram page.
