Tony Tetuila Sues Wizkid & DJ Tunez Over Copyright Infringement
Music old timer Anthony Olanrewaju Awotoye famously known as Tony Tetuila, is currently suing music demi-god Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, also know as Wizkid, for copy right infringement.
Tony is demanding over N30 million (30,000,000) from the Starboy Entertainment CEO.
According to the court documents, Wizkid’s hit single “FEVER” which was produced by DJ Tunez, contains some content from Tony Tetuila’s “Fefe Na Efe” hit song back in the day.
The document also shows DJ Tunez is being dragged into the suit.
They are also seeking 35% of both digital sales and royalties DJ Tunez and Wizkid received from the song.
FEVER released by Wizkid, caused some frenzy when visuals to the song was released. The singer featured Tiwa Savage on the music video. This left fans talking and wondering if both acts were an item.
