Wizkid, Shatta Wale Reconcile At Ghana Meets Naija
It was a fun filled moment at Ghana-Meets-Naija event where good numbers of Nigerian artistes and their Ghanaian counterparts gathered together on one stage to entertain music lovers.
One of the high points of the night is the moment when Wizkid and Shatta Wale reconciled on staged, hugged and performed together.
The supposed beef between the two African music giants started when the self-acclamined King of Ghanaian dancehall music undermined the fan love Wizkid was getting in Ghana.
In an interview with Kasapa FM last year, Shatta Wale frowned on the way Ghanaians celebrities and fans celebrate Wizkid. According to him, there is virtually nothing great about the Nigerian singer.
“I will not see Wizkid and be stunned, I rather want him to see me and be amazed because I don’t see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste”, he said.
Shatta Wale’s comment sprang up different exchanges on social media among Nigerian and Ghanaian music lovers. You’d recall that Shatta Wale even posted a video of himself with a gun in a bid to threaten Wizkid.
Meanwhile, the only statement from Wizkid who has stepped into Ghana many times after Shatta’s threat was;
“Guy man no dey guy guy man”
Apparently, the beef is over between the two singers as they have both left the past in the past and embraced love.
