Tiwa Savage Cancels Upcoming Show In South Africa
Nigerian music star, Tiwa Savage, has cancelled her upcoming performance in South Africa scheduled to hold on the 21st of September, 2019.
The singer announced on Twitter.
This is as a result of the Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.
I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.

I’m not in support of drug dealing nor am I in support of killing. The solution to fighting drug crime is not killing my dear brother https://t.co/j9R55aCPKD

The singer was the only Nigerian artiste billed to perform at the two-day concert which was dominated by South African musicians like Cassper Nyovest and Dj Kent
Tiwa joins the likes of Burna Boy, YCee, Skales, Falz and several others who have openly condemned the attacks.
The attacks in South Africa escalated yesterday when several foreigners including Nigerians were killed by citizens of the country.
