Tiwa Reacts To Ciara Sampling Her Song Without Prior Notice

The Mavin queen, Tiwa Savage, has officially responded to Ciara for sampling her song without proper notification.

In August the American singer and dancer featured Tekno on a track she titled “Freak Me“.

This raised public concerns seeing that lyrics of the song was heavily lifted from Tiwa Savage’s “Before Nko” off her R.E.D album.

An interview with Tim West Wood TV as posted by TooXclusive on its Instagram handle, Tiwa revealed she was not aware the American star would be using her lyrics but she was fine with it when the tune eventually came out.

When asked if she would love to do a remix of her song, Tiwa was welcoming of the idea.

Meanwhile, Ciara had come out on social media to thank the Nigerian star and RED crooner for letting her use the song.
