X3M Music Announces Simi’s Exit

X3M Music has announced the exit of Simisola Ogunleye simply known as Simi from the label.

According to NotJustOk.com, the label revealed that both parties were not renewing the contract after the expiration of the current one.

There has been no official announcement from Simi either on Twitter or Instagram.

“We only sign artists that we love and believe in. We know our taste in music is rather different, but we only sign talents who meet that taste. Fortunately, we have been able to find millions of music lovers here and abroad, who share similar tastes, as is evident in the success of all the artists we have worked with, including Simi who is without any doubt one of the biggest music talents in the country today…,” X3M Music wrote.

CAREER SO FAR

Simi started her career as a gospel singer. She released her debut studio album in 2008, titled Ogaju.

She gained prominence in 2014 after releasing a hit song “Tiff”, a song that was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015.

Simi signed with X3M Music and released her second studio album “Simisola” on September 8, 2017.

Simisola was a success.

Her third studio album “Omo Charlie Champagne” was released to coincide with her thirty-first birthday on April 19, 2019.

Simi has an array of hit songs such as Jamb Question, Love Don’t Care, Joromi, I Dun Care, Tiff, to mention a few.
