They made classics like Shakomo, Judile, Jealousy, etc. JJC/419 Squad: Group members were JJC himself, S.O, Simple, Smokey and MP. Then DBanj and Don Jazzy were later added to the group. They made hits like Looking For A Wifey, Atide, Ewajo, etc. DBanj & Don Jazzy: They were known as the Mohits Crew; It later included artistes like D Prince, K-Switch, Wande Coal & Dr Sid. Before DBanj and Wande Coal left and the group was rebranded to Mavins. They were responsible for hits like: Mobolowowon, Why Me, Tongolo, Koko, etc. PSquare: It consisted of two twin brothers 'Paul and Peter Okoye'... And Jude (their elder brother) being their manager, before they all parted ways. They had variety of hits like Senorita, Busy Body, Game Over, Temptation, Ifunaya, etc. Styl Plus: Members included R&B artistes like Tunde, Shifi and Zeal. They were the backbone behind hits like Olufunmi, Call May Name, Imagine That, etc. Danfo Drivers: Members were Mad Melon and Mountain Black. They were really at their prime during the times they reigned, giving us bangers like Sensimilla, Kpolongo, Meshango, Iya Mi O, No Matter What Dem Say, etc. Plantashun Boiz: It consisted of 2face Idibia, Faze and Black Face, before they departed. 2face became more prominent and won several awards after he went Solo. Their hits were Ememma, If Life, You And I, etc. Infinity: This gospel music group included Kore, David Karnji, and few others This group never really lasted the way everyone expected them to, after dropping their first hit song Olori Oko back in 2007. Zule Zoo: Consisted of Michael Aboh and Al Hassan Ibrahim. They were the backbone behind the club banger KEREWA. After the release of Kerewa, that was the end! KUSH: Included Lara George, TY Bello, and two others. They were the mightiest female music group we had in this country back in the days. 'Let's Live Together' was their biggest hit song. KC Presh: The group name was the combination of their stage name; KC and Presh. Hits songs they made were Shokori Bobo, Everybody Dance O, Kc Presh Anthem, etc. Artquake: It consisted of ICE K and ADX... They made songs like Alanta, Farabale, Asiko, Gara Gan, etc. God bless these groups that made the early 2000s really interesting and fun-filled for everyone, we will never forgey you!
